Checked out ribfest this weekend. Ribfest goes on once a year in town, I'm not sure if they tour but basically a bunch of food trucks show up and they sell their ribs. Other food is sold too but the ribs are the main attraction. The rib trucks have all their trophies put out on a table in front of their trucks, apparently they win trophies each year for having good ribs or something.. or maybe they just put random trophies in front of their trucks.. I didn't really go read every single trophy so I can't be sure.
I couldn't wait to eat my beavertail before taking a picture ^^". To those who don't know it's a deep fried piece of dough covered in sugar, chocolate sauce or other toppings not an beaver's tail.
Tried this "Old fashioned soda", it came with the tin mug.
Tasted like normal root beer to me..
Took a picture of the land next to the marsh.
It's going to be developed in the next couple years so I just wanted to have a photo of what used to look like.
Lunch the next day. Can't remember what it was called ^^
Came back the next day to see some old friends.
Bought a pulled pork sandwich from the truck with the shortest line. It wasn't bad. Tried a sample from one of the longer lines at around closing time... It tasted a lot better...
A trip to the food court for lunch. Chicken and spring roll vermecilli from the vietnamese store. They used to serve this in a bowl, almost didn't recognize it
